Today I received a letter from Asheboro City Manager John Ogburn. The city received over $8 million dollars in COVID relief funds. These funds could have been used to pay for better schools, better roads, add additional funds to the underfunded Asheboro Police Department, or even to help struggling small businesses in Asheboro.

This continues the long pattern of government waste and irresponsibility shown by our city leaders.
