Statement on Potential Trucker Strike in the United States

Over the past few weeks, I have been asked by many people if I would participate in a trucker convoy in the United States to oppose vaccine mandates. While I wish I could participate, my obligation is to my family first, and participating in a strike or “convoy” is not something that will put food on the table for my family.

Additionally, a trucker strike is not something that I believe is in the best interest of this country at this present time. At a time when the American people are suffering with shortages across the board, from medicine, to gas, to food, I believe the best course of action is to get truckers more involved in the political process without disrupting the American supply chain so that we do not worsen the situation for millions of Americans who rely on the American truckers to keep goods and services flowing smoothly. The simplest way to get involved is to go vote in the primaries and the general elections. The only thing that can stop a tyrannical vaccine mandate is for Republicans to take back the House and Senate in November and push forward legislation that would prohibit the weaponization of federal administrations against the American worker.

Moreover, as someone who has been politically involved in the past, I believe my role in fighting against the vaccine mandate is not behind the wheel of a truck, but on the ground fighting for true Conservatives in every level of government. Although I disagree with the premise of a trucker strike at this present time, I still support all truck drivers north and south of the border who feel it necessary to go strike.

Statement on 2022 Winter Olympics

I normally watch the Olympics religiously every two years. I enjoy seeing the best of mankind competing against one another for a medal and to be crowned the best in the world.

This year, however, I will not be watching any part of the Olympics. I refuse to give the communist government of China an audience while they continue to engage in genocide of ethnic minorities and threatening the sovereignty of Taiwan.

The Chinese Communist Party is hellbent on doing everything possible to suppress information that damages their creditability on the world stage. Instead of standing on the side of human rights, they choose to actively and systematically engage in human rights abuses.

I wish Team USA all the best in the Winter Olympics and good luck to all the athletes who have worked their whole lives for this moment.

Statement on SCOTUS Striking Down Biden Vaccine Mandate

Today’s ruling by the Supreme Court is a victory for individual rights and a bulwark against an overreaching Biden Administration. I am pro-vaccine and believe that the vaccines are one of the greatest modern medical miracles. However, forcing people to vaccinate against their will is government tyranny over individual choice and free will.
