I have long been a proponent of vaccines, they’re safe, effective, and proven to reduce hospitalizations. In fact, I signed up to get mine the day I became eligible. That being said, the Biden Administration’s push to require employers mandate vaccines and/or weekly testing is a flagrant unlawful overreach by the federal government. This month the labor market has reported job openings at a record high for the fourth consecutive month. Also this month, payroll increases missed it's mark by more than half of what was to be expected. Right now, pushing vaccine mandates upon the American workforce or testing costs onto already struggling and faltering businesses is the wrong choice.
