Statement On Lexington Police Officer Katie Crook's Death

Yesterday, Ashley received the heartbreaking news that her biological sister, Katie Crook, a respected and dedicated officer with the Lexington Police Department, was killed while off duty.

This Christmas, a family will gather with one less chair filled, one less voice, and a lifetime of memories left behind. The pain of such a sudden and senseless loss is impossible to put into words.
